Kim Anthony is a Success Magazine® 125 Leaders Who Get Results  honoree, and brings more than 30 years of experience in the personal growth and development industry to her role as Founder & CEO of the Urban Excellence Institute, a 501c3 nonprofit organization that is dedicated to providing world class transformational education to historically underserved communities.

Her passion for bringing world-class personal growth and development to historically marginalized communities stems from using what she's learned in her extensive studies to raise herself from an emancipated foster kid with $130 to her name -- to finding success as a successful entrepreneur, newspaper publisher, radio talk show host, and philanthropist.

In the nonprofit sector, she launched and provided capacity building services for 320 nonprofit organizations in 31 states, and has sourced more than $20 million for community causes.

Her next project is to work alongside her husband in developing affordable housing communities that incorporate wrap-around services and include access to personal development resources and coaching for economic mobility.
